Studio 7 was approached to assess the development opportunities for a family occupied property with an initial brief to build a minor unit. Following a thorough project research process, we settled on a potential subdivision for a new family home on the site. 

The site had numerous challenges including a riparian yard, drainage, and the challenge of an increased budget. Studio 7 completed procurement of the resource consent and Building consent.

The design captured the lifestyle of the owners and allows for the new dwelling to be constructed in stages to suit the budget. The programme included 3 bedrooms open plan living and a semi enclosed deck overlooking the riparian yard. The materials include vertical timber and metal cladding. 

Following a negotiated tender, Studio 7 has been engaged to administer the contract with completion due June 2021.
